Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and our efforts to "flatten the curve," we are changing our office visit policies. If you have an appointment with us, we are still open and happy to see you. We ask that you check a few things before you come to our office:
- Please check your temperature prior to leaving your home. If it is above 100.0 deg F please do not come to your appointment. Please call to reschedule or go to the ER depending on the seriousness of your symptoms.
- If you have shortness of breath and/or a cough please do not come to your appointment. Please call and reschedule or go to the ER depending on the severity of your symptoms.
If you are feeling well and do not have the symptoms listed above, then we are happy to see you. We ask that when you arrive to our office, please call 830-997-4043 and let us know you have arrived. This will serve as your "check-in." We will then come outside to get you at your appointment time. You will then be taken immediately back to your exam room for your visit. By law, you must wear a mask during your visit but can remove it if required for adequate examination. We ask that no family members join the patient for the visit unless it is absolutely necessary. We thouroughly clean every exam room between visits so please be patient with us.
As a reminder, most patients with COVID-19 have mild symptoms and do not require hospitalization. You do not necessarily need to go to the ER unless you have symptoms that warrant an emergency room visit. Stay safe and healthy and avoid passing the virus to others.
